Is there really a free government iPhone 14 program?

The phone may be older, but activation still matters.
Apple introduced the iPhone 14 generation in 2022. As an older premium model, it may appear in refurbished inventories, trade-in stock and provider promotions more often than a newly released flagship.

Those benefit amounts should not be interpreted as a federal promise of a specific smartphone. The wireless provider separately determines whether it includes a device and what that device costs.
